Alcaufar Vell is a rural hotel based in the 200 year old manor house of the same name, built in the 18th century on an old medieval tower. It is a calm and welcoming hotel, where the magic of the past lives alongside the present. The hotel has 21 large and comfortable rooms that have been exquisitely refurbished, spread out between the main building and the two annexes situated in the old laundry building and stables. The hotel also has a restaurant that mixes the past and present, and innovates without losing the essence of Menorcan cuisine. Situated in an intimate and welcoming space with native architecture, in the summer months it moves outside, to the “Jardí dels Ullastres” garden. The hotel is surrounded by an idyllic setting: a garden, large swimming pool, country lanes and hectares of woods and countryside. A dreamlike setting for your holidays, just over a mile from the Alcaufar beach, that you can walk or cycle to, through woods of pine and wild olive trees.
