La Minerva was in past times a factory where flour was made, but was refurbished in the year 1995 and converted into a restaurant. The restaurant seats 700 people. As well as the main restaurant building which boasts of several private dining rooms, and a large terrace , all of which have a wonderful view of the port. But probably we are best known for our large floating platform, and our moored boat ‘Anita’ where you can dine in tranquillity and on the waters of the beautiful port of Mahon. We take pride in preparing and serving succulent dishes, such as rice dishes, lobster stew and fresh Minorcan fish. Our cellar holds an extensive list of wines all with a certificate of origin. We offer a great selection of homemade desserts, such as crëpes, our typical Spanish dessert ‘tocinillos del cielo’ a baked custard dessert, and many more, but our speciality is our Minorca cheese ice cream. We also provide Catering & Services and locations for the organisation of any type of event, or celebration.
