Cala en Brut is situated at six kilometres from Ciutadella, located between Cala en Forcat and Clot d'en Barceló, as well as next to the village Torre del Ram and to the residential areas of Cala en Blanes and Los delfines. The coastal stretch between Cap de Banyos and Port de Ciutadella, including also Cala en Blanes, has an orientation toward east-southeast and it is a 1,5 nautical miles long steep and low coastline. This sea inlet is characterized by being v-shaped (narrow and long), it is very small, very crowded by young local visitors, the beach doesn't have any sand, but there are solariums with stairs to access the quiet water on the rocks which surround this area. there is no vegetation, and the orientation is toward southeast-south-southwest, with a gentle breeze. The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are not good on a ground covered by sand, stones and rocks. But on the coastal stretch between calas en Forcat, en Brut and Clot d'en Barceló there is an excellent are for diving. The most important attraction for the divers is Pont d'en Gil and sa Cigonya, which form a natural bridge which can be passed by small boats. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach of Cala en Brut with the public transport. When the beach has a lifeguard service, you must follow the lifeguards' instructions and the warnings on flags. A red flag indicates dangerous swimming conditions and means that swimming is not permitted. A yellow flag indicates that precaution must be taken, but that swimming is permitted. A green flag indicates that swimming is permitted. An orange flag is used to indicate that the lifeguard is absent. Act cautiously when no lifeguard is present or the service is not available and enjoy the beach without taking any unnecessary risks. For health and safety reasons, the municipal ordinances ban pets on beaches. Information about this beach may change. Para mí marido y mi hija de 12 años, sin duda la cala donde más hemos disfrutado. Compuesta por un montón de lanchas a diferentes alturas, con escaleras, trampolines desde donde tirarse a diferentes alturas y escaleras, lo que te permite tirarte por un lado y salir por otro, volverte a tirar y sigue... También es un lugar óptimo para hacer snorkel. Cientos de peces que nadan contigo mientras recorres toda la cala que se mete al interior. Espectacular. No te la puedes perder.
