Na Macaret is the urban beach of the village with the same name, the buildings of which reach the coastline, located between Cala Molí and Punta des Nous Corns (it has excellent panoramic views). This small coastal corner belongs to Port d'Addaia, and it is located at 12 kilometres from Alaior, so that it is very frequented by its residents, and at 17 kilometres from es Mercadal. This u-shaped sea inlet is quite small, the beach is sandy with no vegetation in the surroundings, the orientation is toward north, with calm water, because it is sheltered from the wind (gentle breeze), and it is surrounded by residential houses. In front of the coast of na Macaret you can see Punta de sa Torre, on the top of which rises Torre d'Addaia (an eight metres high defence tower, with octagonal form and divided into three floors, with an artillery platform on the last one). The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are excellent in Port d'Addaia during the whole year, because it is located in a deep sheltered cove, although there are many small islands (Illa Petita d'Addaia, Illa Gran d'Addaia, Illa de ses Àguiles, Illes Carbó), flagstones, sandbanks (Seca d'Enmig), quite dangerous, so that the navigator is recommended to follow the buoys and to enter during the day. These characteristics explain that the beach is not too crowded by local visitors and tourists.
